Launching a new vehicle, updating a model or localising an imported part? ECI Glass develops the glass, builds the tooling, produces trial samples and takes the part through testing and certification, so you receive a fully approved component that is ready for series production.
Development from Drawing or Sample
Send us a CAD drawing, a physical sample or the vehicle itself. Our engineers check feasibility and recommend the right glass: laminated, tempered or specialty.
Tooling & Prototypes
Moulds and fixtures are made in our in-house tool room. Prototype and trial parts are produced on our CNC cutting, bending and tempering lines for fitment trials on your vehicle.
Testing & Type Approval
Parts are tested in our Quality Control Lab and taken through type approval at ICAT and CIRT, with ISI marking under IS 2553 (Part 2).
ECE R43 for Export
For vehicles and machines going abroad, we support ECE R43 approval so your glass meets international safety requirements.
How It Works
- Share your requirement: drawing, sample or vehicle details, plus expected volumes.
- Feasibility and quote: glass type, thickness, tooling plan and timeline.
- Tooling: built in our in-house tool room.
- Prototype and trial samples: for fitment and approval on your vehicle.
- Testing and certification: in-house QC lab, ICAT / CIRT type approval, ISI and ECE R43 marking as required.
- Series production: consistent supply from our 100,000 sq. ft. plant.
