The windshield that holds together
A laminated windshield is two layers of glass bonded to a tough PVB (polyvinyl butyral) interlayer. If the glass is hit, the pieces stay stuck to the interlayer instead of flying into the cabin, and the driver keeps a clear field of view.
At ECI Glass, every windshield is cut on CNC machines, bent to the exact curvature of the vehicle and bonded in high-pressure autoclaves for full adhesion and optical clarity.

Shatter Resistance
The PVB interlayer holds broken glass in place, protecting occupants and keeping the opening sealed.
Optical Clarity
Precise bending and autoclave lamination give distortion-free vision for the driver.
UV & Noise Reduction
The interlayer blocks most of the sun’s ultraviolet rays and helps reduce outside noise in the cabin.
Exact OE Fit
Made to the vehicle’s original shape and curvature, using tooling from our in-house tool room.
